Once you flag a post, the message goes to Facebook’s global community operations team, where it’s reviewed by team members. When you flag a post, you’re given a menu of options, including an option to message a person directly with suggested text if you don’t know what to say. If it’s your post that’s flagged, you’ll see a number of outreach options, including tips and resources to reach out to suicide prevention organizations. The new feature’s reportedly rolling out worldwide today.
