In 2015, Hinchcliffe almost died in an Indianapolis 500 practice crash when a suspension piece went through his leg. Porsche’s Earl Bamber Obliterates Track Record At Road America

In his first qualifying run ever as a Porsche works driver, Earl Bamber just smashed the GTLM-class pole position record at Road America. Bamber scored a lightning quick lap time of 2:02.384 around the 4.048-mile track.

Shiny New Shelby GT350R-C Has GT40-Inspired Stripes, Pole Position

I was drawn to this lovely new Mustang because it has these stunning forest green stripes. No one uses British racing green anymore unless it’s a retro-themed Lotus or something. Both Mercedes F1 Cars Go Off At The End Of Qualifying, Grab 1-2 Anyway

Mercedes Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg timed their dual wipe-out just right during this morning’s qualifying session for the Austrian Grand Prix. Both drivers went off at the end of the third and final qualifying session after driving to P1 and P2 starting positions, respectively.
