A loose groundhog with little groundhog balls of steel halted NASCAR Xfinity Series practice at Michigan International Speedway this afternoon. This groundhog didn’t care about the cars on track, the track’s trucks arriving to haul him off, or that guy with the shovel. Groundhogs have no fear.

Finally, someone competing in the Xfinity Series wins an Xfinity race this year. Full-time Xfinity driver Erik Jones took home the $100,000 check today at Bristol after a crazy four-laps-to-go restart that featured a crazy back-and-forth fight for the top of the podium.

Tonight marked a record eighth Xfinity Series win at Texas Motor Speedway, giving Busch a total of 160 wins in all NASCAR’s top three series.
